Wall Panels

Architectural wall panels have many different designs.  Whether aluminum composite material, insulated wall panels, corrugated wall panels, zinc wall panels, stainless steel perforated panels, aluminum metal plate, high pressured laminate panels, wood veneer  composite (Trespa), or natural wood veneer panels (Prodema), EDA has the design team and installers to meet all of these designs.  The architectural wall panel is an important feature of many buildings.  These systems require strict adherents to the manufacturer’s guidelines to assure the integrity of the building envelope.  With the critical interaction between the wall panels and the air/vapor barriers, EDA’s self performs all of these disciplines which allows for a seamless interaction.

Column Covers

Column covers have become an important architectural design for a building exterior envelope.  EDA’s staff can design and install these column covers to meet the architects design intent.  EDA will install these column covers to create a seamless connection with other exterior wall panel assemblies.  This seamless connection will allow for a leak-free exterior envelope.

Louvers

An architectural louver can be pre-manufactured or shop fabricated by EDA’s shop.  While certain design requirements will be the deciding factor, EDA’s shop has the expertise and equipment to meet most design requirements.  Architectural louvers are generally an integrated component of the entire wall panel envelope.  The ability to combine the exterior wall panel and the louver will play an important role in a leak free envelope

In today’s construction design, air and vapor barriers have become a critical component of the exterior envelope. The quality of these installations must meet stringent manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure a water tight envelope. The advent of the “Rain Screen” principle has made the air and vapor barriers the first line of defense for water infiltration. In order to ensure a water tight envelope, these air and vapor barriers must be installed in cooperation with the exterior skin contractors.

Every building that requires a basement will need a waterproofing system. The waterproofing installation is a very important aspect of any new building. Since you only get one chance to perform the work correctly, it must be installed by experienced mechanics. EDA has trained individuals to install foundation waterproofing, under slab waterproofing and elevator pit waterproofing. Our philosophy is that this waterproofing is the foundation to a leak-free building envelope. All the foundation waterproofing systems require an interfacing feature with the exterior wall waterproofing. Since EDA performs both of these disciplines, the transition is performed without problems.
